Happy Mother's Day?

A wonderfully joyful holiday that is weirdly sad for some

I don’t have a relationship with my mother.

IThis is completely by choice, but every time Mother’s Day rolls around I get a little pang in my chest about it. It feels weird to not have any contact with the person that brought you on to this earth. My relationship with my mom, like some peoples, was a tumultuous one.
